TWVF Named a National Best Practice

December 1, 2006

The Texas Women Ventures Fund has been named a national Best Practice by The Urban Institute for providing capital to women entrepreneurs. In an extensive report funded by the Kaufman Foundation titled, "Capital Access for Women: Profile and Analysis of U.S. Best Practice Programs," "TWVF’s Dequity product is praised for allowing a larger number and a wider range of women-owned businesses to have access to capital, particularly in comparison to venture capital programs." The report was released in late March and you can read the full report.
