Carol Nichols

Carol is co-founder of Texas Women Ventures. She is also a charter investor in the fund and a member of both the Investment Advisory Committee and the Investment Committee.

Carol is the Managing Director of Circle C Ventures, LLC. Formerly an executive with Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase, she has almost three decades of experience advising and connecting growing companies to capital. Carol specializes in investments in early-stage companies, creating strategies to make companies and people successful. She is a member of Golden Seeds, a 100-member, national Angel group and she is both a member and serves on the board of the North Texas Angel Network.

Carol is a leader in capital access initiatives for business owners and creating organizations for women. She is a co-founder of the NAWBO Dallas micro-loan program, "Capital Concepts, Inc.," the Executive Women's Partnership in Houston, and the Women's Mentoring Group for JPMorgan Chase, Texas Region.

Current memberships include the boards of the Metroplex Technology Business Council, Springboard Enterprises, and the Texas Horse Park. She also serves on the advisory board for J.O.Y. Foods, Inc. She is a frequent speaker and panelist on the topic of growth capital for emerging businesses and has been recognized as one of the "Great Women of Texas" by the Fort Worth Business Press.

Carol is a cum laude graduate of the University of Georgia with degrees in economics and political science and received her MBA from Tulane University. She currently resides in Dallas.
